Question: What are some scottish terms for morning greetings?
(Posted by: Mac(intosh) on 2010-02-23 12:27:19)
What are some Scottish phrases to be used in the morning? American example: Wake up sleepy heads, rise and shine, up and at 'em. A term of phrase that has a unique Scottish feel to it. |

There isn't a specific widely known phrase. You can say things in a Scottish accent but i wouldn't bother. Scottish people don't take to kindly to other people trying to imitate their accent as it is something that they are very proud of and consider it to be a part of their national identity. |
