Airport screening privacy?
I don't worry about the airport screening or pat downs. I would like for them to be done by persons of the opposite gender. Also, assuming the TSA will grant you an opposite gender searcher, is there anyway you can get both?I figure if you have got to go thru this, why not enjoy it?
When is female privacy going to be respected during airport patdowns?
I realize the reasons behind the scans and pat downs, but even in Canada the complaints about women being patted in personal places in front of male passengers and male airport staff is wrong. As a former sexual assault victim, the very thought of being so humiliated might be something that might just be too much. I think that there should be separate lines for men and women behind privacy screens. What do you think?Point 1 regardless of religion, race, creed or otherwise, privacy should be respected for both men and women.Point 2 I am a Christian.Point 3 regardless of religion, creed, race or sex, everyone deserves the right to privacy during such situations.Point 4 both men and women should be allowed to choose a witness to the pat down to make them safer from abuse. How do we know that the person patting us down is getting cheap thrills or a molester? Point 5 My personal body is not for the touching by anyone else, other than my husband.Point 6 When I go through airport security in the future, I choose my husband as my witness.Firstly, travelling is part of my job, so I am glad that we have high security measures. To say that we should stop travelling if one doesn't like the measures is childish. However, on a good note Canada began putting in privacy screens into airports and the allowable option of a private room with the right to have a person of your choice with you to witness the procedure. I hope the same dignity will be afforded elsewhere. Thank you all for your responses.The new Canadian measures took place today, November 24, 2010.

I'm in my mid 20's and I find that if I'm looking to take a vacation and spend the money on a cruise ship with my wife... I would like to find a ship best suited for our needs. I won't be shy in saying that each morning as I awake in the nude, I wouldn't mind walking out on my balcony to stretch and take in the sun as my initial wake up routine. So what're my options here?
