Price of package holidays?
I was looking at prices of packages online and i can't believe the prices Years ago i got a week in Crete in October for 350euro now they charge 500. I just went onto a flight only link and they are charging 450 for a flight to sicily. You can book that for 150 if you take a scheduled flight with ryanair. Aer Lingus even offer a lot of flights now , even to the US. Why are these package companies prices so high do you think? I agree with Saoirse they can't compete and probably deserve to go out of business.

I am considering going on a package holiday to Europe sometime. I would love my destination to be somewhere filled with culture and sights, but with lots of other activities on offer as well, somewhere reasonably inexpensive, and warm. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Cheap Package Holiday For 2 people?
I'm looking for a package holiday. It doesn't matter where it is just if its warm and the currency is good. I'm looking to travel from 23rd July and stay there for 7 days. The flight and accommodation should be in the range of 100 250pp. Hotel to be any board. e.g self catering,bed a breakfast etc. Hotel to be 2star or 3star. One 12 year old and one 50 year old. Hi,Im wondering if anyone's got any tips as to where's a cheep place to go on Holiday this year.It would be in June so not in the 6 weeks holls and it has to be sunny.Nowhere special, ive been to Spain and Greece before ... i just want somewhere warm and cheep lol.Ive been told that because of the Euro Spain etc work out expensive this year .. is Turkey cheep?
