A holiday in Thailand!!?
Hi I am planning a trip to Thailand in August 2012 and am wondering if anyone has any tips for places to go and see. I will be travelling with my husband and our son who will be 4 years old while we are there. Also we are travelling from Dublin, Ireland so Im wondering if anyone knows which airline fly from Dublin and the average price I should pay per adult. We are planning on staying in Thailand for 4 weeks so we have a lot o planning ahead of us. Thanks in advance for the answers...

I would be flying from Melbourne to Bangkok. I would like to get there mid morning and go to the Chatuchak market, stay one night and then go to another part of Thailand for the rest of the holiday.Where is the best place to go to Elephant treks, Tiger temples, Monkeys, Night markets, 4x4 riding, beach activities of some kind, temple sightseeing.I've googled it but I really need someone's opinion.Thankyou

Cleansing and detoxing holidays in Thailand?
I havent been feeling well for a number of years due to stomach and joint pains as well as skin rashes and fatigue. I wanted to go for a spa break where i could have a complete detox that includes fasting and colonic cleansing to see if this makes me feel better. A friend suggested going to a detox spa in Thailand. it is something that i have been considering for a while as the people who have had this treatment talk of how it has changed their lives and health. I would like to know if anyone has ever been on one of these retreats and how they felt after. Did It change your Life, mindset or health? Thanks guys but I have had a complete medical in fact i have lots and all they do is ply you with tablets and potions and then they give you more tablets and potions to counteract the side effects of the ones they give you in the beginning. I have experienced so many problem due to overuse of meds that I am worse than ever. By the Way i used to run every day and do body building as well as swimming and aerobics and lots more in fact i was the fitness queen lol but I think my condition has been made worse due to all the meds i have taken over the years i just need a complete clean out and start again. So do you live in Thailand carlito?? Have you seen these spas if so which are the best? Thanks Ann have you had treatment and which one would you recommend?

Is August a good time to holiday in the Bangkok area of Thailand? I know that it is the rainy season around that sort of time but how bad does the rain affect activities and how long does it rain for at a time? roughly Thank you
Holiday in Thailand, close to Bangkok?
I am heading back to NZ for xmas and am stopping off in Bangkok for 6 days from Dec 10. I just want to relax on a nice beach somewhere close to Bangkok. I don't want to travel too far. I have been to Ko Samet and Koh Chang before but would like to try somewhere else. Any ideas. As the question says I don't want to travel too far so Phuket and Chang Mai are not good answers....
