Holiday in Mexico Today through the 4th?
I have a few employees who say that today is a holiday in Mexico for them in honor of " Saint Francisco" . They will have to take this next week off to go to their families for mass etc.However, I have been unable to find any evidence of this holiday, and google only leads me to sites that are completely unrelated Google immediately switches the word " saint" for " san" , leading me to the city, not the holiday .One of my friends suggested that they may be faking this holiday to get a week off, leaving all the work to their non hispanic co workers, which is unfair.Has anyone heard of this holiday? Does anyone celebrate it, and know how long it lasts? 5 days is awfully long for a single holiday to be going on.Does NOBODY know?
Worried about taking holiday in Mexico?
Am I right to worry about taking a vacation in Mexico. I am thinking of visiting Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. The reason I say this is because of all the crazy killings and narco wars going. Anybody been there recently? Is it just one big media hype? Then again, isn't it crazy everywhere you go? Where to go on holiday in Mexico?
Me and a friend were wanting to go on holiday to Mexico. I've never been before and don't know much about it as a country only that it looks amazing on films and tv documentries Firstly, where would be a suitable place for me and a friend to go? We are both 20, will be 21 in Feb, if the legal drinking is 21 then we will wait till we are both 21 so after Feb , we like to have a good time and DANCE But not into the whole clubbing and lots and lots of drinking... So no 18 to 30 style partying holidays Happy to do spanish style dancing but not the clubbing thing We both love the idea of typical Mexican culture, so somewhere with a lot of traditional Mexican food and ways of life, but not somewhere too quiet because we would be using public transport. So somewhere lively with traditional Mexican life Any ideas I'll look into, and any experiences you've had yourself please tell me about It really looks like an amazing place to visit Thanks

What do i need for my holiday in Mexico?
Ok so im going to Mexico for the holidays from England and i want to know what will i need like passport wise and that. Will i need a visa? or anything else like that?
