Ski holidays in italy.....?
ok so im going to italy at xmas time for a ski holiday in 2011.me, my brother, and dad like skiing, but mum doesnt, so we want to go to a hotel chalet with a spa, and then mum can go in the spa whilst we ski, then we can go sledgin and stuff with mum in the afternoon.so i want to know....what places in italy where u can ski have a spa in the hotel?& can u get a direct flight to italy from Dubai airport, UAE? or do u have to stop somewhere?thankyou

Me and my friends are looking for a place to go on holiday in the summer for about 5 nights in Italy. Were looking for somewhere quite lively with a good night life, with bars and clubs, maybe near the sea, a nice hotel and near a good shopping area. Not too expensive.Any ideas? Where is the best place for a cycling holiday in Italy?
I'm looking at taking the family on a more adventurous holiday this summer and as we are all casual cyclists I thought this would be a good way to explore and stay fit but are the roads safe for cycling and do companies organise transportation of baggage etc if we tour by cycle? WOuld rather stay in hotels than camp....kids are aged 13 and 15...Thanks

Hi there, my fiance and I want to go to italy this summer but we're not sure where we should go?i was looking at lake como and portofino cause i've always wanted to go there but portofino seems like its quite expensive so thats probably off the table. anyways we're looking for places with campsites or 'cheap' hotels etc... would really appreciate some help thanks a lot

My Friend is a legal Ethiopian immigrant and has an Ethiopian passport with a indefinite permanent UK residence. They booked a holiday in Italy but another Friend warned she needed a visa. But the italian embassy cannot be contacted. So my first question is does my Friend really need a visa. The second is, if so, how can she contact the italian embassy. Lastly, any other important details would also come in handy.
