Do many British people holiday in Aruba?
My travel agent today suggested this area as a possible holiday for two weeks in May next year. Trying to plan a nice holiday for my Son's 18th. We all love nice beaches, lovely hotels, culture and good food.Is Aruba considered a safe destination. Are crime rates low.Are British people welcome?SidneyWhilst I agree with some of what you say there are some of us like my son who has not even tried alcohol, husband and myself that are not drunken British louts. We go on holiday to enjoy the beach, meet the people, the culture, try new food and explore. If I wanted to booze it up then why go all the way to Aruba. I enjoy the occasional glass if wine or cocktail. I can understand why you wish this to remain an undiscovered gem. But some people that are not boozed up will actually enjoy and cherish Aruba.I am also going there to renew my vows.
