Europe - long holiday stay break?
I would like to go live somewhere sunny in Europe for a few months. I'm currently in the cold England, UK. Can anyone suggest a good place to go to. I'm 35 and male. It needs to be Sunny & Warm Cheap accomodation cheap living total budget 2000 pm Lots to do & see resturants, fitness centres, places to visitAny suggestions ?A nice town city in Southern Spain or Portugal would be good Can anyone suggest certain towns.

How much money would I need for a 3-6 month holiday stay in the US?
Hi all I am currently in the process of arranging my holiday to the states, I have friends scattered in several areas and wondering how much I'd need each month if it can be done. No accommodation costs will be incurred as my friends will be supplying my food and a place to stay.I usually get around 400 dollars guaranteed income each month which Is what I usually live off here in the uk and I'm hoping to have saved around $2500 $3000 usd by the time my trip comes any advice would be appreciated.It's a daunting prospect just awaiting on my passport and trying to decide whether to do a 3 month trip which would be much easier due to the VWP but my friends are trying to talk me into a 6 month trip soI can see them all for a longer period. Just pondering in curiosity thanks all for reading and I look forward to your replies.Thanks mll for replying, well my mode of transport will more than likely be the train or bus when travelling through the states purely because I know renting cars are expensive from previous short holidays to florida. I'm so excited I was due to do the trip this year but stuff cropped up. Hoping kindly for donations from family too for my birthday crosses fingers and in process of arranging stay dates with friends. It's something I've wanted to do for years I'm pleased to hear that it can be done within that budget specially as i'll be going to 3 states all on the same tain journey with stop offs or a few weeks should be fun.
