Why do some people willingly get nailed to a cross? I seen this in photos from the Philippines. Men actually getting physically nailed to a cross. Do they really believe this is what God would want them to do? Isn't self inflicted physical pain and abuse contrary to what Jesus would ask of us?If " ignorance is bliss" , then some people are full of bliss among other things.Yes, my mistake. It is done during Easter. I just saw pictures of it. So, why doesn't the Church speak up and tell them right from wrong? It always has something to say about other things. " To take up your own cross" does not mean being nailed to one.

I would like to know where is a good place to go for a holiday in ph, I would like a beach holiday with lots of busy place not too quiet but not laddish louts, good places to go shopping & scuba diving, good architecture, good religious places cathedrals etc nice hotel not top class ones value for money & good restuarants etc. And how do I get there from Bangkok best route, flight low costs airline, maps I hear it is so beautiful but so many island some too quiet.
