Thaipusam has just been gazetted holiday for KL and Putrajaya as well, good news for them but sadly as in my case working in S'gor, my chinese boss do not declare Thaipusam or Nuzul Quran as holiday because it's a minor one but still end up a total of 16 days of public holidays per year.... Is Taman Negara & Cameron Highlands also worth visiting for my annual holiday in Malaysia?
I am planning to visit Malaysia in Dec '09. While working out on the places to visit, I have zeroed in on KL, Melaca, Penang & Langkawi. I basically seek adventure & thrill in my holiday places. For e.g. I have chosen Langkawi for the unique sky bridge. Taman Negara came up because of the rain forest, the oldest in the world. I wish to do the canopy walk for 1 full day. that is adventurous . What else is there to see in Taman Negara? Ideally, how many days, one should spend there 1N Maybe Can someone also brief about Cameron Highlands what is there to see? Is it worth visiting?What about Kedah? And the famous tree top walk? Is it worth going there also? How far is it from KL?How far are all these places from KL? My main stay hub will be KL? How can I plan my travel journey from KL to all these places i.e. Melaca, Langkawi, Penang, Taman Negara, Cameron Highlands. Kedah, etc... And how many days? Which place to go first? Please suggest a travel route also road air
