Why do timeshares, or holiday clubs, not let you take a brochure to read.?
Maybe I am just suspicious, but I was recently at a marriott resort, and while everything was wonderful, and the deal, sounded fantastic,no advertisements, or brochures were given out. Surely if the product was as good as it sounded, it would look even better on a glossy brochure.I didn't buy the timeshare, but said I would see how things worked out, and I still wasn't given anything to read.Makes me wonder, why not?

Are we entitled to cancel an agreement regarding joining a 'Holiday club' if the membership is under 12 months?
Are we entitled to cancel an agreement regarding joining a 'Holiday club' if the membership is under 12 months? Timeshare laws apply if the agreement is 12 months or more. We signed and paid a deposit of 500, less than a week ago. We feel that the company has misrepresented themselves and their service. The contract we signed states that it is non cancellable. They verbally told us numerous times that the contract was for 12 months.Really need info about contracts under 12 months.
Has anyone had any negative experience with Holiday Club Gold Coast.?
We signed up for shares and paid a deposit of $685.00 but now want to get out. The cooling off period expired 5 days ago. We weren't told about the cooling off period when we signed up but upon reading application there was a clause in the form we signed.Does anyone have clues on how to get out of paying full aplication fee.

I'm read in yahoo answers about Club Class Concierge Holiday Club. What do they do for you?
I sell expensive beautiful perfumes made in Spain for the international market like Harrods etc. A consierge virtual service is good for me.

UK Working Holiday Club - Yay or nay? (Or other work in London programs)?
Hello,My friend and I are planning to go to the UK next September to work, and I have been researching all of these different companies who are claiming to help out with everything including finding a job and helping out with visas. The only thing is, I have found out that two out of three of them one of which is really well known are actually scams or unreliable. I really can't afford to pay thousands of dollars in planning and then arrive in London next year without a job or anywhere to stay. The only other program I have researched is the UK Working Holiday Club, which seems really good uk workingholiday club.com.au .If anybody has used them and has good or bad reports, PLEASE tell me asap. Or if there are any other reliable companies people have been through tell me also.Thank you
Sunterra Holiday Club?
