Low budget holidays?
I'm planning a holiday for around this time next year, and I'm trying to think of good places to go on a reasonably low budget but we're not talking tents in the back garden . I've travelled extensively around the UK so I want to go abroad, I do NOT want some silly clubbing holiday, and I don't want to do somewhere ridiculously hot or ridiculously cold.I'm thinking Italy would be nice, but I know very little about the country so any Italian suggestions would be nice. Or maybe Greece

Any advice on a budget holiday in chamonix?
Me and three cousins are looking to spend a week or so in chamonix. We are happy to share rooms, find our own meals, only ski 1 2 days, and get there the cheapest way whether it be train,plain,car etc. from the south coast of england. Where can I go for budget holidays in January?
I am turning 30 this January and would like to spend it some place special.Original idea was an ice hotel in Sweden, but I can't afford it right now and so looking for alternative.I don't think I want any sun destination. I would rather go for some adventure or city break somewhere in Europe.I don't do any winter sports and don't have any truly winter clothes and to buy them probably is too expensive. I live in Belgium and will be going on that birthday holiday with my boyfriend.Any help will be appreciated.

I'm a single mum of a 5 year old boy on a very tight budget. I would like to take my son on holiday at the end of August but everything seems so expensive. Surley in the era of budget airlines and package holidays there must be something I can afford. I seem to be facing a price for 2 adults even thought he's only 5 And I cant find a free child place where I'm only paying for me. We're hoping to go half, full board or all inclusive, but can do self catering if it means saving pennies.We're travelling from London UK and want to go South France for warmth, beach etc. 2 adults and a 4 year old. Hopefully end of Feb 2011, or soon after.Neither of us drive, so would need transfers, coach, metro or cab to get from airport, ferry or Eurostar.Please can you recommend travel agents websites etc, any advice?
