How to book a holiday?
I want to book my first holiday abroad with my boyfriend. We're both 18 so consent isn't an issue. This question is going to sound a little silly but I suppose that's what this site is for..We want to go somewhere typical somewhere hot and coastal. 7 Nights will be fine and we'd like to stay half board minimum. Nothing fancy 2 3 . What would be a reasonable budget for us each, including flights, transfers etc? We're not ruling out last minute deals but they're not always easy to find. I'm also aware that it's a lot more cost effective to book online, but I have reservations about this. I'm the sort of person who likes to sit down with someone and have someone explain the fine details to me in person. Any experiences good or bad with online booking?Rambling too much, any help much appreciated.

Best time to book a holiday for best deal?
My husband has a month of in January and we will be going to the caribbean as always. Usually we leave it until the last few weeks before booking but this year we are on a tight budget and I am wondering when is the best time to book for the best deals? We almost always go through teletext holidays and I've seen some good deals on there already. If we wait, will there be better deals or will the best deals be gone by then? I don't really know how these things work. Also can anyone recommend any other websites offering bargain holidays. I've so far not found anything better than teletext holidays.

Booking a holiday at 17?
Me and 3 of my friends wants to go abroad next year but we are all only 17 turning 18 on the week after we would like to return home . We've all been to the place before so know the area and the hotel and everything so our parents have all said it is okay for us to go. However, when we went to book the holiday we were told that even with adult consent there is no way that any holiday company would let us book a hotel as we are all only 17 and parent consent no longer makes a difference. Can anyone give my any ideas suggestions on if there is any way we can work around this and still get our girls holiday abroad? Thanks
